Funeral will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at J.C. and Ruth Watkins Cultural Center (Leak Street Cultural Center) 1004 Leak Street, Rockingham, NC. Public viewing, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, 12-5pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington Street, Rockingham, NC. Burial will follow at Greater Diggs AME Zion Church Cemetery, 1258 Old Cheraw Highway, Rockingham, NC 28379. Nelson Funeral Service is serving the family.
