James E. Wall

Mr. James E. Wall, 91, of Rockingham passed Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Hamlet House Assisted Living, Hamlet, NC.  A Memorial Service for Mr. Wall will be Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 2 pm in the Chapel at Nelson Funeral Home. In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines mask are required and social distancing is suggested.

Mr. James E. Wall, Cousin James "as he was known" was born July 7, 1924 to the late Rollin and Bill Wall.  He was married to Idella Wall where one child was born Sharon Wall.  He had six sisters, Mary Evens, Alice Caple, Johnsie Tillman, Lidyia Carter, Rosalee Nicholson and Nora Bush.  Three brothers Valin Nicholson, Rosavelt Nicholson and John Nicholson.

James lived in High Point, NC  for many years and worked in Logging with his Step-Father, He loved playing his Harmonica and talking to people.  His favorite saying was "Beep Beep Road Runner".

He leaves to cherish his memories many nieces, nephews and other cousins and friends.  One Special Cousin, Tony Wall who made sure he had all he needed and had a chance to get out and ride around each time he came home from Rochester, NY and enjoyed family gatherings and cookouts at Cousin Tommy Harrington's house.
