James E. Cutner, 87, of Hamlet passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Durham, NC. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at First Baptist Church 329 West Ave Hamlet, NC.

 Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 12pm to 5pm at Nelson Funeral Service 1021 E Washington St Rockingham, NC and on Saturday one hour prior to the service. 

The family is receiving friends and visitors at 105 Raintree Rd Hamlet NC.

Mr. Cutner is survived by three children, Tiajuana Cutner of Charlotte, Connie Cutner-Ragland (Vincent Ragland, Sr.) of Henderson, NC and Earle D. Cutner of High Point, NC.  He is also survived by three grandchildren whom he cherished: Vincent Ragland, II of Durham, Amania & Amaris Cutner of High Point, cousins, many close friends and a dear friend and former wife, Gwendolyn Cutner.
