Gwendolyn Annette Baldwin, 67 of Rockingham, NC passed on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Funeral will be held 2pm on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Holly Grove Church Road, Rockingham, NC  28379.

Public viewing, Thursday, June 18, 2026, 12pm-5pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington Street, Rockingham, NC  28379. Family hour 6pm-7pm.

Gwendolyn Annette Baldwin was born on March 1, 1959, in Rockingham, North Carolina, to the late John Crowson Baldwin Jr. and Vivian Lucille McCoy Baldwin.  

Gwendolyn leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children: LaTaisha McCreary (David) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Terrence Dorsey (Nina) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Jasmine Baldwin of Charlotte, North Carolina; Bree Baldwin of Charlotte, North Carolina; Nikki Henry (Joseph) of Greensboro, North Carolina; and Jonetta Baldwin of Rockingham, North Carolina; eight cherished grandchildren; a special niece; and several nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, John Crowson Baldwin III (Shelia) of Rockingham, North Carolina, and Toriano Baldwin of Burlington, North Carolina, along with a host of extended family members, friends, former colleagues, students, and community members whose lives she touched throughout her journey.
