Obituary

Miss. Catherine "Shuan"  Ingram, 49, of Rockingham transitioned into her heavenly Home on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Richmond Memorial hospital.  Catherine was better known as Shuan aka "Big Shuan" to her family and friends.

Catherine attended Richmond County Schools.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant in her younger days.  She was employed by Richmond County Transit before her health failed.  Shuan was a person of many words and a heart of gold.  If you knew her, you knew she loved her grandkids.

Shuan was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Catherine "Mrs. Sam" Legrand; her maternal grandfather, Bonnie Little; her paternal grandfather, Promise Everett; and her favorite cousin, "Gat."

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her mother, Bonnie (Larry) Patterson; her father, Thomas (JoAnne) Everett; the Moore Family; her paternal grandmother, Marie Everett; one daughter, Letracie Everett; three sons, Howard Everett, Dominique Everett, Thomas Bloomfield; one adopted son, Joseph McKenzie; one adopted daughter, Kwanjai Jennings; two sisters, Frederica (Arthur) Ewing and Felicia Legrand; three brothers, Howard (Dorothy) Williams, Thomas (Kim) Everett, Jr. and Donnie "Dontea" McDonald; her fabulous grandchildren, Uriley, LeVeah, Ziyanna, London, Ondeia, Armoni, Emorie, Rylan, Eris, Drasin, Jalaya and Trace; two best friends, Tyrannia Ellerbe and Katina Ingram; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
