Carolyn Berry Suggs, 71, Rockingham, NC, passed on Tuesday, January 2, 2023, at Richmond County Hospice Haven, 1119 N US Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC, 28379.  Nelson Funeral Service is serving the family.

Carolyn Berry Suggs was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also a faithful follower of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Shady Berry, and her husband of many years, Horace Gene Suggs, Jr. She is survived by her son, Gregory Todd Suggs, and daughter Tonya Suggs Patel. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Jasmine Patel Jara and Abbigayle Patel, as well as her two great grandchildren Jameson and Amelia Jara. Carolyn was a sweet woman who would be willing to help no matter what. She loved her family more than anything else. She will be greatly missed.
