Betty Jean Quick Little, 71, Rockingham, NC., passed on Friday, December 8, 2023.  Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church, 478 Sandhill Road, Rockingham, NC  28379.  Public Viewing, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, 12:00pm until 5:00pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington Street, Rockingham, NC.

Betty Jean Quick Little, better known as “Bet”, was born June 13,

1952 in Ellerbe, North Carolina (Richmond County) to the late

Jessie and Cahterine Quick.

Bet was educated in the Richmond County Public School System.

At an early age she moved to Rockingham, NC and grew up in

the Chapel Town Community and joined Poplar Springs

Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev.

J.H. Ferguson.

Bet was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Barrett

Tilman, two sisters, Ruby Quick Bruce and Beverly Quick Little,

and her husband, Frank James Little, Jr.

She leaves to cherish precious memories: one son, Frankie Quick

(Chrystal) of Rockingham, NC; four grandchildren, Mason,

Kelsey, Shayana Quick and Markele Williams, all of Rockingham,

NC; one great-grandchild, Kylah Cove Callazo of Rockingham,

NC; three sisters, Evelyn Anderson, Joyce Ingram and Christine

Harris, all of Rockingham, NC; one brother, Elder James Wall of

Hamlet, NC; her significant other of thirty years, Carl Rogers of

Rockingham, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and

friends.
