Obituary
Mrs. Betty Gean Hamilton Everett was called home on November 4, 2020 in Rockingham, North Carolina from Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 4, 1937 in Wolf Pit, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Catherine Hamilton Wall. Her stepfather was the late Charles Wall.
She was married to the late Arthur Everett and to this union, they had one son, Keith Everett and one granddaughter, who both preceded her in death.
She was converted at an early age and attended Piney Grove A.M.E. Zion Church until the church closed. She later joined Greater Walls Chapel until her health failed. She was in the Finance Department and served on other boards while she attended Piney Grove A.M.E. Zion Church. She was a hair dresser by trade.
She leaves to cherish her memories: five sisters, Annerina Hamilton of Jamaica, New York, Brenda Pratt (Thomas) of Rockingham, North Carolina, Charlease Wall of Rockingham, North Carolina, Sylvia Ingram of Rockingham, North Carolina and Julia Ingram of Hamlet, North Carolina (one sister, Ruby Hamilton, preceded her in death); two brothers, Wayne Wall (Linda) and Gary Wall (Gale), both of Rockingham, North Carolina; twelve nephews; six nieces; and a host of great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.
