Barbara Jean Draper (Glaze), 69, of Rockingham, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on

the afternoon of March 13, 2026.

Barbara was born December 12, 1956, in Silver Spring, Maryland, to Robert and Goldie Draper.

She loved caring for her fur babies, sharing meals with loved ones, trying new restaurants,

attending church, and spending time with friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Alaina Glaze (Kevin Tuttle Jr.); her son, Robert “Shane” Glaze

(Nina Vo); her stepson, Alton Emmitt Glaze III (Tisha); her grandchildren, Tristin Rorie, Elizabeth

Rorie, Seth Tuttle, Brooklyn Glaze, and Michael Glaze; her great-grandson, Asher Rorie; her

sister, Florence Lyon; and her lifelong best friend, Tim Bennett.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Outreach for Jesus, with the date to be announced.

The family would like to give special thanks to Julie Holder, Judith Quick, Judy Pond, and Susan

Sloop for the love, help, hope, and joy they brought into Barbara’s life, as well as the church

family at Outreach for Jesus.

Barbara will be deeply loved and missed by all that knew her.
