Obituary
Ms. Angela Denise Little was born August 30, 1964 in Rockingham, North Carolina, to the late Donald Ulton & Diane Cox Little. Angela went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

Angela, affectionately known as Ann, was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. A fountain of knowledge, wisdom, and advice, she was always willing to help family members with any situation and always provided a satisfactory solution.

Ann had an admirable childhood growing up in the Philadelphia Community; she was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church in Rockingham NC. Ann was actively involved in Church communications. She shared the church announcements on Sunday and ensured the church bulletins were always available on Sunday mornings. Ann was a member of the United Methodist Women and the administrative council, where she served as the Church Secretary and preformed other clerical duties; she was also a supporter of the Summer Food and Fun Program.

As a teenager, Angela was invited to and attended the Governor’s School of North Carolina for intellectually gifted high school students located in Winston Salem NC. Angela was a 1982 graduate of Richmond Senior High School. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Sandhills Community College and became a Registered Nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She began her nursing career at Moore Regional Hospital working in the Emergency, Medical and Oncology Departments. Her passion for helping others led her to become a home health nurse for many years at Richmond Home Health. She continued her career in Long term care at Pruitt Health in Rockingham, NC as a Clinical Director. She provided training and education for the staff. At the time of her death she was employed with Anson Health and Rehabilitation in Wadesboro NC, as the Staff Development Coordinator , where she was the chairman of the Covid task force.

She was a dedicated Registered nurse for over 30 years where many of her coworkers will say she helped them become better nurses and caregivers throughout her career.

Angela was a member of Alpha Pi Chi National Sorority, Inc. - Alpha Mu Chapter. Angela served as local chapter secretary for the Alpha Mu Chapter. She participated in local, state and regional activities and meetings.

She found great joy in spending time with her son and grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her paternal grandparents, Milton and Nora Lee Little and, her maternal grandmother, Juanita Cox.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories: her beloved son, Chad Little (Elbony Cook) of Greensboro, NC; two grandsons whom she adored, Edris and Elias Little of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Donald Little of Rockingham, NC; and Jonathan (Kimberly) Little of Greensboro, NC; two uncles, Milton (Della) Little of Rockingham, NC and Jimmy (Jacquelyn) Covington of Robbins, NC; an additional aunt, Barbara Ann Little of Washington, DC; One granddaughter, Amaya Johnson of Ellerbe, NC; and a host of cousins, friends and loved ones that will dearly miss Ann.
