Alice Baker

Mrs. Alice Francis Baker was born May 8, 1945 in Anson County, North Carolina to the late Edmund Smith and the late Fannie Smith.  On Thursday morning January 21, 2021, God gave her, her wings and she went home to be with the Lord.  

After she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and attended different churches, she made the House of Prayer her home church under the leadership of the Apostle Charlie Lindsey.  Alice served in the church for six years and was a faithful member.  Whatever she found her hands to do, she did it with love.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, son, parents, six brothers and a sister.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories:  her sisters, Christine DeBerry from Rockingham, NC, Magdalene (Charlie) Lindsey from Wadesboro, NC and Fannie (Jonathan) Thomas from Concord, NC;  one stepson, Fredrick (Karen) Lowery and one stepdaughter, Shirley Lowery, both from Wadesboro, NC; sister-in-law; a very special friend, Phia D. Liles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
